This stunning holiday arrangement makes a wonderful gift or make it for yourself to add a little sparkle to an otherwise unadorned area in your home.
For the invisible stem look, I put pre-soaked floral foam into a cream cheese container that nested perfectly in the opening of my vase. Be sure your foam extends about an inch above the top. A few sprigs of fragrant fir provide an interesting contrast to the silver dusty miller. Next I added three spider mums and, just for fun, an artificial grape cluster. You could use so many different holiday picks from the craft store, but I like the way the grapes follow the shape and flow of the dusty miller. Just make sure your colors all blend well when selecting your embellishments. Safari sunset leucodendron continue the "V" line of the vase. Before inserting the candle into the foam, I encircled it with gold aluminum wire. The wire is repeated with the "curlies", achieved by wrapping the wire around a paper towel tube, then stretching it a bit. I hot glued a golden circle to the vase for a custom look.
