Ordinary tin cans were used to create these two fanciful designs. I glued a sheet of red "foamy" material to each one (available at most craft stores). Then I took foamy hearts and attached them to the first can. They're peel and stick and soooo easy! The bunch of heathery looking flowers came from a bush in my yard. Then I added a few stems of stock and several sweet smelling carnations. I'll bet you and your kids could make these for teachers and grandmas as a very special "I love you" gift.
A larger can was used as the container for this next design. I call it "Red Vine Valentine". Notice how I inserted the red vines under the rubber band, then covered the rubber band with festive ribbon and a single foamy. You could do this with smaller cans, too. Imagine how many arrangements you can get out of one tub of red vines!
