Apple Cider

I found this candy apple red tub at the inventory clearance store for around eight dollars. The pre-soaked floral foam is sitting in a recyclable plastic tray that once held a rotisserie chicken. It rested perfectly in the opening without falling to the bottom. Bamboo skewer "legs" hold the candle in place. If your candle is really dense like this one was, you can make a hole with a nail, then insert the skewer. My primary greens were clippings from a redwood tree. You could also use pine, fir, spruce, etc. Then I added some wild geranium. Remember to point your stems toward an imaginary X in the center or your foam. Let some drape down over the sides. Bamboo skewers were also used to insert the shiny red apples. Finally, I added clusters of white chrysanthemums. You could also use roses, carnations, or any type of flower that won't interfere with the apples. This would make a beautiful holiday centerpiece for a dining room, kitchen or cocktail table.
