Peter got caught in the cabbage patch again!

Using a plastic cookie tray as a base, I secured a block of floral foam split lengthwise with florist's tape. Then I surrounded Peter with a fennel bulb and kale. I covered the remaining foam with pitisporum (camellia would work, too). The centers of the white gerbera daisies and anemones almost look like more bunny eyes peering from the patch. Next I added horse tail, but I'll bet asparagus spears would look even better. Finally, a festive bow around Peter's neck and he's all ready to join you for Easter dinner!

Marshmellow chicks peer out below this design made from a grocery store bouquet. I lined a cylinder vase with an aspidistra leaf to hide the stems. Any large leaves will work. After taping a grid across the vase, I made a nest with the greens in the bouquet, then basically followed the guidelines described in the Step by Step page. Just another way to transform an everyday grocery store bouquet into a whimsical centerpiece that will delight young and old alike!
